...Strong winds expected Sunday...
A dry cold front will move through the area early Sunday morning
ushering in gusty northwest winds of 30 to 40 mph behind the
front. Gusty conditions will begin at dawn in the Peoria area,
then spread southeast through mid-morning. Gusty conditions will
continue across the entire area until diminishing late in the
afternoon on Sunday.
Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Driving may be
difficult for high profile vehicles, especially on southwest-to-
northeast oriented roads, such as I-55 and I-57. Fires may spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is discouraged.
